The first time we went
to Green Bay, we saw the small one out by the water and photographed
it. We saw a lighthouse on the corner of the yacht club and
said, "Oh, isn't that cute? They built a lighthouse to
match the small one" We didn't even photograph it.
Then one day, Tim Harrison of Lighthouse Digest called and wanted
photos of both of the Grassy Island Range. I said there was
only one. He said "NO, one was on the corner of the yacht
club." When we went back in 1999, the old yacht club had
been torn down, a new one built, and the range light stood alone
again.
