Monhegan Island ME 41-A
This was before the Coast Guard erected the solar panels on this side of the lighthouse.
(I know they were needed, but it's oh so much more picturesque without them)

Monhegan Island ME 41-B
Going to Monhegan is an experience in it's own.  It's a different kind of place.
You need to walk up a steep hill to get to the lighthouse, but once you get there the view is wonderful.
When we were there, a building was being erected.
If I remember right, it was to be a replica of the older keepers house.
