PR6.  Punta Tuna Lighthouse, Puerto Rico

We were able to go inside and climb up the tower.
Punta Tuna Lighthouse is no longer manned by the Coast Guard.
Due to vandalism, it is being torn apart and damaged, little by little.
Tuna Point Lighthouse Inc. is an organization that is trying
to acquire and save this lighthouse.

Some of "Los Faros" that the Spanish built, back in the 1800s still have some wonderful details.



View from the beach.  Wish we'd been there in the morning when the light was better.
The other side has steeper cliffs and a wonderful view.
