Does this lighthouse still exist
after Hurricane Katrina?
It has been in terrible shape for some time with it's lantern room
having been taken off. It may not be restorable after Hurricane
Katrina.

We
were in Louisiana, looking for this lighthouse and found a fisherman
who took us out there. What a sight. This lighthouse was
once attached to a good sized keepers house, and this was all that
remained at that time. More is gone now, see above. |
