We got special permission from
Coast Guard
Public Affairs to go there and photograph this
lighthouse. At that time, it was the home of the
Admiral. Someone neglected to inform the Admiral's
staff, and halfway through our photo work, we heard a
whistle and looked up to see a drawn gun pointed
at us.
Luckily, we had the name and phone number of
the Public Affairs Officer and were allowed to finish
our work.
