We've made many trips to California and never been able to get out
to Alcatraz for one reason or another.
This shot was taken with a long lens from Fisherman's Wharf.
We were there  in Nov. 2006 , but the sun wasn't shining.

I will put up more photos soon.
By the way, if you are there, a trip to Alcatraz is well worth
the time and effort.
