There has been some differences of opinion whether Stratford Shoal Lighthouse is in New York or Ct.
Some years back, the late Jim Gowdy told us it was in New York.

From the website of the Long Island Chapter of the U.S. Lighthouse Soc.:
"This light's National Register listing  mistakenly indicates it is a Connecticut
 lighthouse. This sort of error is not uncommon for offshore lights near state borders."
