LA 4. Pass Manchac Lighthouse, Louisiana
After Hurricane Katrina does this lighthouse still exist?
It has been in terrible shape for some time with it's lantern room having been taken off.
 It may not be restorable after Hurricane Katrina.
All these photos can be ordered, use the state # (ME12) for example
and the A, B or C, if there is more than one.

We were in Louisiana, looking for this
lighthouse and found a fisherman who took us
out there.  What a sight.
This lighthouse was once attached to a
goodsized keeper's house, but this was all
that was left.

 



We took this photo in June of 2005
and you can see there is not much left of the lighthouse.
A group had intended to restore it, but now
is anything left at all of Pass Manchac Lighthouse?
