This is the second lighthouse built on this spot.
The first one burned and needed to be replaced.

The artist who paints the postage stamps picked our photos of Five Finger
to use as a model for the new postage stamp of Five Finger Lighthouse.
I believe he used the top two photos for our book,
"Lighthouses of Alaska"

We landed on the helo pad and were able
to explore inside and out the lighthouse.
What a thrill!
At that time, the group had hoped
to restore it and make it a place
for overnight lodging.  If there has been
