This lighthouse, without its lantern room, was moved from its original
position, out closer to Cape San Blas.
It is a private residence, so respect the homeowners privacy.
You can get a good view from the road.
The owner has plans to replace the lantern room.
At one time, the lantern room was nearly finished and
we were looking forward to seeing it placed on the structure,
when the building housing the lantern room burned to the ground.
I believe the owner still hopes to rebuild it.
